This kit is meant to help facilitate the installation of a Getrag 265 5-speed into your vintage BMW (See applications below for specific models). It will make the swap much more efficient and is durable enough to handle whatever is thrown at it. The brackets we produce are made from thick, stainless-steel, plate.
Installation Notes: In addition to this kit you will need to have a shortened driveshaft, factory shifter plate assembly, guibo, and other OEM hardware. This kit is intended to be installed by professionals with a good working knowledge of vintage BMWs. Getrags transmission varies slightly and you may need to grind down interfering bosses for clearance around the mounting bracket.
